Urban Growth, 2013

The towns and cities we live in are constantly expanding and evolving, taking over natural space and replacing it with offices, supermarkets, shops, houses, roads and railways. Like some sort of cruel irony or unconscious regret, after consuming natural areas for our own expansion elements of nature are being brought back into urban epicentres in the form of plants, trees and flowers; forever standing as a reminder that the land we inhabit was once theirs.
